If you know me well enough then you probably met Otis and Crawford at some point from 1991-2004. They were the love of my life for 13 years. Otis was adopted from a couple that was moving to Houston that couldn't find an apartment that allowed dogs. Crawford was adopted from a woman that had too many pug puppies.
Otis and Crawford were the most special pugs you could have met. So funny, loyal and adoring. Crawford has the flat tongue in the picture and Otis has the tongue that is curled up. Crawford always smelled like a corn tortilla and had the shortest pug hair ever that would get on everything you owned. He was would constantly lick your legs with that hot tongue of his. Otis had longer pug hair but had skin allergies so baths were a weekly event for him. They hated water! I have found that most pugs now like water. I took Otis and Crawford to the beach a lot and they would have nothing to do with the water. They would run away and would want to just sit with me. And, of course we couldn't sit long in the sun....you now how pugs are in the hot sun.
